Looking for a fun inspirational watercolor workshop to take this summer?
I will be teaching “Beyond the Brush” :
Experimental Techniques in Watercolor
at the Rogue Gallery in Medford, Oregon
Saturday August 7 & Sunday August 8, 10 am-5 pm.
This workshop is designed for exploring, experimenting and incorporating textural watercolor techniques into your own personal artistic style. Each day will start with a lecture and demonstration about watercolors and texture. We will explore experimental watercolor techniques using items other than a paint brush for texture, including pouring paint through filters.
Wanted to check in and say Hi as it has been many months since I have posted anything here. 2020 was quite a year for everyone. I did get lots of painting time in, focusing on intuitive abstract expressionism in watercolor. Many of these new works have been posted on my Instagram page.
Looking ahead into 2021 I will continue to show my artwork at Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland, Oregon where I will be the Featured Artist during the month of September 2021. My art works are also at The Rogue Gallery in Medford, Oregon on a rotating basis.
Many people are now shopping online more than ever before especially with the covid lock downs. Wanted to introduce to you my new website feature where I am now offering my original paintings for sale un-matted and unframed. You can link to see what I am currently offering from the menu on this website or click here .
Wishing you the best in 2021 and many happy new beginnings!
In painting abstractions I see things about myself come out through my choices of forms, colors and brushstrokes.
Honestly, I was amazed when I stood back and really looked at this painting to see how deeply in my subconscious I am being affected by the coronavirus.
Please stay safe everyone!
