Hi There!
Wanted to check in and say Hi as it has been many months since I have posted anything here. 2020 was quite a year for everyone. I did get lots of painting time in, focusing on intuitive abstract expressionism in watercolor. Many of these new works have been posted on my Instagram page.
Looking ahead into 2021 I will continue to show my artwork at Art & Soul Gallery in Ashland, Oregon where I will be the Featured Artist during the month of September 2021. My art works are also at The Rogue Gallery in Medford, Oregon on a rotating basis.
Many people are now shopping online more than ever before especially with the covid lock downs. Wanted to introduce to you my new website feature where I am now offering my original paintings for sale un-matted and unframed. You can link to see what I am currently offering from the menu on this website or click here .
Wishing you the best in 2021 and many happy new beginnings!
Excited to share with you that my painting,
“Sprites”
is featured on page 80 in
The Best of Watercolor: Splash 21 Competition Winners Edition.

In painting abstractions I see things about myself come out through my choices of forms, colors and brushstrokes.
Honestly, I was amazed when I stood back and really looked at this painting to see how deeply in my subconscious I am being affected by the coronavirus.

It has been some time since my last post.
This summer has been wonderful, but it is passing by way too fast.
Hope your summer has been delightful too!
Here are couple of my new experimental bubble paintings, watercolor on 140# cold press watercolor paper.
The initial process involved mixing my professional grade watercolor paints with home made bubble soap.
Then I began blowing bubbles with the paint mixtures, capturing them on my watercolor paper.
From there I pulled the paintings together with watercolor glazes, direct painting, finishing with opaque white watercolor paint.
There we so much fun to create!

Exploring and Expanding:
“Dreamscape” is painted with traditional watercolor and a product new to me called “Brusho Crystal Colours”.
This is also the first time I have used an UV varnish spray on a watercolor.
Worked great!
“Dreamscape” is 29 x 21″.
