Something New

Posted by Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass on February 3, 2019 | No Comments

For years people have asked me if my paintings were available as scarves or fabric to sew. I looked into it and producing scarves or printed fabric to resell is expensive so I never went ahead with it. Last winter I was the Featured Artist at Art & Soul Gallery, when a lady inquired if one of my paintings was available as fabric. I told her no, but if she had any suggestions of fabric companies to please let me know. She told me about a print on demand fabric company called Spoonflower. Looking into it I found this company to have a great reputation and a lovely variety of fabrics to choose from. Today I am happy to be able to say, ” YES! I do have artworks that have been adapted for fabric designs available at Spoonflower.”

“Springtime Delight”

Posted by Lynda Hoffman-Snodgrass on August 12, 2018 | No Comments

In March of 2016 Art & Soul Gallery held a “Spirit Of Spring” show of paintings by the galleries artists.

I created my painting, “Springtime Delight” for that show.

Then I never showed it again, even though I was happy with the painting.

Since it is a tulip themed painting I pulled it out to see if I could show as part of my tulip series.

After looking at it with fresh eyes, as it has been put away for some time, I saw some changes that I felt needed to made.

The before of “Springtime Delight” is on left and the finished painting is on the right, very happy with the results!
